NO REWARD IN A COMPETITIVE MATCH (0–1)

FC Badalona Women were unable to take points against Athletic Club in a demanding match decided by fine margins. ONA faced the eighth-placed side with several absences and players carrying minor physical issues.

After several attacking attempts from both sides, the visitors took the lead in the 35th minute through a goal by Azcona. Badalona Women also had their chance in the first half, with a shot from Paula Sánchez that went narrowly wide.

In the second half, the team stepped up, matching the tempo of the game and showing a more solid performance. However, Athletic created the clearest chances, with a standout performance from goalkeeper Carla Abdón, key to keeping the team in the match and later named MVP of the game.

In the final stages, Badalona Women had one of their clearest opportunities of the match. A great move from Lice ended with a shot from Banini that was cleared off the line by a defender, denying a very clear equaliser.

Ultimately, the team were unable to take points from a tightly contested match and now turn their focus to the next league fixture, away on Saturday against RCD Espanyol Femení, remaining in ninth place in Liga F Moeve.
