All to Play for Ahead of the Second Leg

The Municipal Stadium of Badalona hosted the first leg of the Copa de la Reina semi-final between FC Badalona Women and FC Barcelona, played in front of nearly 3,500 spectators.

Barcelona controlled possession for large stretches of the game but struggled to translate that dominance into clear chances. Badalona, well organised throughout, maintained a compact structure and limited spaces, preventing the visitors from finding rhythm in the final third.

The game ended in a 0–0 draw, leaving the tie open ahead of the second leg. Goalkeeper María Valenzuela was one of the standout performers, playing a key role in the defensive display.

Beyond the result, the match also reflected growing interest around the team, with many young supporters in the stands and a lively atmosphere throughout the evening.
