Big win in Eibar (1-4)

FC Badalona Women secured a 1-4 victory over Eibar at Ipurua on Matchday 5 of Liga F Moeve. Marc Ballester’s side claimed their second consecutive win and moved up to fifth place in the standings.

Irina Uribe opened the scoring in the 48th minute (0-1) following a move down the right flank by Julve. Lauri Requenadoubled the lead in the 63rd minute (0-2), before Sheila Guijarro made it 0-3 four minutes later. Nerea Sánchez pulled one back for the home side to make it 1-3.

In the 77th minute, a great backheel finish from Paula Sánchez completed the scoring at 1-4.

Irina Uribe was named MVP of the match and becomes the team’s top scorer, with two goals in three appearances. Txell Font also made her debut as FC Badalona Women’s goalkeeper.
