FC BARCELONA SHOWS ITS IMPROVEMENT
FC Badalona Women held on well during the first half, but after the break they were unable to stop FC Barcelona, who eventually secured a 6–0 victory, demonstrating their upward form shortly before mathematically clinching the league title while preparing for the semifinals of the Champions League.
It took a few minutes for the team coached by Marc Ballester to settle into the match, but they gradually improved. In the 18th minute, a handball by Itzi was given as a penalty, and Paralluelo opened the scoring. ONA had a couple of promising attacking moves but failed to convert them into goals.
In the second half, with the opposition showing signs of fatigue, Barça increased the pressure and rotated the squad by bringing on players who are usually starters, ultimately sealing the 6–0 win. Now comes a well-deserved rest, which will also help recover injured players ahead of the final stretch of the league season.
