FC BARCELONA WIN THE LAST DERBY IN PALAMÓS (0-4)

FC Badalona Women put up a strong fight against FC Barcelona for much of the match, until the penalty incident in the 60th minute resulted in the 0-2 scoreline and Lucía’s sending-off.

The reigning league champions took the lead in the 4th minute with a goal from Kerolin. Despite this, Marc Ballester’s team refused to give up and even came close to equalising when Irina’s long-range free kick struck the crossbar.

In the closing stages of the match, FC Barcelona extended their lead to make it 0-4.

The positives included Lucía Carmona’s debut, Izarne’s return after several months out injured, and the presence of 3,000 spectators in the stands.
