REDOUANI READY TO MAKE HER DEBUT AGAINST ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

FC Badalona Women strengthen their defensive line with the arrival of Zineb Redouani, a Moroccan international who joins from FAR Rabat, the most decorated club in the country. She is a full-back known for her speed and technical ability.

At 26, Redouani has an impressive track record, having won 7 league titles and 6 cups. She was named in the CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations Best XI (2022) and the CAF Best XI (2022), and has reached the CAF final on two occasions. She made her debut for the Moroccan senior national team in 2018 and was a starter at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, where Morocco finished as runners-up. Since then, she has become a regular member of the squad.

Redouani has already trained with FC Badalona Women this week and is looking forward to making her debut as soon as possible to help her new team: “I’m very happy to be part of this club. I’ve only been here a short time, but they’ve already made me feel very welcome. I was really looking forward to playing in such a competitive league as the Spanish one, with a very high technical and tactical level. As for my qualities, I would describe myself as a combative and disciplined player who always gives her all for the team. I hope to make my debut in a Badalona Women shirt as soon as possible.”
