NARROW DEFEAT AT LAS GAUNAS (1-0)

FC Badalona Women suffered a 1-0 defeat at Las Gaunas in a match that was decided just three minutes before the final whistle, when Logroño United scored the winning goal. Marc Ballester’s team did enough to earn at least a draw, but things did not go as hoped.

María Llompart struck the crossbar with a shot, while Irina hit the post with another effort. These chances were joined by a good move from Julve, which came close to resulting in a goal. The visiting side also appealed for a penalty after a Logroño player handled the ball, but the referee did not award it.

FC Badalona Women kept pushing until the very end and, just when it seemed they would take at least a point, the opposition scored to leave the visitors empty-handed.
