FC Badalona Women unveils its official 2026/27 kit with the support of the City Council and M Automoción EBRO

FC Badalona Women experienced a key moment in its institutional and sporting consolidation within the city this Tuesday. The Badalona Centre Internacional de Negocis (BCIN) hosted the official presentation of the club’s 2026/27 shirt, a kit that represents the union between the local business community, public administration and elite women’s football.

The new shirt will feature the logo of vehicle dealership M Automoción EBRO on the front, as the club’s main sponsor, while the back will display the ‘City of Badalona’ slogan, promoted by the City Council.

The event was attended by a strong institutional delegation led by the Mayor of Badalona, Xavier García Albiol; Third Deputy Mayor Rosa del Amo; and Deputy Councillor for Sports Juan José Portillo. Representing the sponsor was Claudio García Moreta, Financial Director of M Automoción EBRO. Also attending were Mario Malavé, Chief Operating Officer of Mercury13; Josep Bellet, President of FC Badalona Women; and Pedro Iriondo, CEO of the club.

The Mayor of Badalona, Xavier García Albiol, highlighted the importance of the partnership for the city: “Today is an important day for sport in Badalona, marking the culmination of a project, FC Badalona Women, that has been two years in the making. Badalona now has its own women’s football team in Liga F, with a spectacular stadium and a great partner in the form of a sponsor that is from the city and has believed in the project. We are placing women’s sport in Badalona in a position of national prominence, which is extremely important for the city.”
