Points shared in the derby against RCD Espanyol Femení (1-1)

The FC Badalona Women earned a point at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque after a 1-1 draw against RCD Espanyol Femení in an intense derby defined by two penalties and a second-half sending off for María Llompart.
Marc Ballester’s side started on the front foot, showing confidence and controlling possession in the opening stages. Despite their bright start, FC Badalona Women were unable to convert that dominance into clear-cut chances in the final third.
The deadlock was broken in the 22nd minute when Ana González confidently converted from the spot to make it 0-1. Before the break, RCD Espanyol Femení responded with a penalty of their own to level the score at 1-1. Shortly after, María Valenzuela produced a key moment, pulling off a superb double save to deny the home side a turnaround before half-time.
In the closing stages, the match swung further after Llompart was sent off for a second yellow card in the 87'' minute. Even so, FC Badalona Women dug deep, showing resilience with ten players to secure a hard-earned point that keeps them in ninth place. A positive note was also the return of Berta Pujadas following her injury lay-off.
