FC Badalona Women to take part in the inaugural tournament Liga Futura Moeve
The Ona, together with 11 other Liga F Moeve clubs, will participate in the first-ever U12 girls' football tournament in history.
The tournament, promoted by Liga F and Moeve, will bring together some of the best youth academies in Spanish women's football from 12 to 14 June at the José Ramón Cisneros Training Ground in Seville.
This tournament was created with the aim of continuing to drive the growth of women’s football from the grassroots level and to promote the development of young female players, establishing itself as a strategic initiative for the future of the sport.
The competition will feature twelve teams from Liga F clubs, becoming a benchmark event for girls' youth football development.
For FC Badalona Women, participation in this inaugural edition represents further recognition of the work the club carries out in women’s grassroots football and reaffirms its commitment to the development and growth of future generations of players.
FC Badalona Women has been drawn into Group G1 alongside Atlético de Madrid, Madrid CFF and Deportivo Abanca.
The group stage will take place on 12 June and will determine the eight teams that advance to the quarter-finals. The winners and runners-up of each group, together with the two best third-placed teams, will progress to the knockout rounds, which will be played over the weekend to crown the first-ever Liga Futura Moeve champions.
The official match schedule will be announced by the organisers in the coming days.
