Two very different halves against Real Madrid Femenino (0-4)

FC Badalona Women fell to a 0-4 defeat against Real Madrid Femenino in their final home match of the season, in a game largely shaped by the visitors’ efficiency after the break.
The match featured two very different halves. In the opening 45 minutes, Ona showed it's personality and competed toe-to-toe with the Liga F runners-up, creating clear chances of their own, including an effort from Elena Julve that struck the post. Real Madrid Femenino also threatened María Valenzuela’s goal through the attacking quality of their players, but the first half ended goalless (0-0).
After the restart, the visitors scored three goals in the space of six minutes, a spell that ultimately decided the contest. Despite the setback, FC Badalona Women continued to push forward, though the woodwork denied the Ona side a deserved goal. Paula first hit the crossbar with a powerful strike before Sofie also rattled the post with an excellent header. In the closing stages, Real Madrid added a fourth goal to seal the final 0-4 scoreline.
Marc Ballester’s team were unable to bid farewell to their supporters with a victory and will now travel to Valencia next Sunday, 31 May at 16:00 CET, to face Levante UD Femenino in their final league fixture of the season.
