FC Badalona Women’s reserve side secure place in the promotion playoff final to 1RFEF

FC Badalona Women’s youth team side secured a dominant 5–0 win over Zaragoza CFF this Sunday in the second leg of the promotion playoff semi-finals to Primera Federación Iberdrola, played at CEM Besòs, booking their place in the final for promotion.

From the opening whistle, the Ona side took control of the game, showing personality, intensity and clear dominance in possession. Andrea Cano broke the deadlock in the first half during a spell in which the team were clearly on top (1-0).

After the break, the reserves kept the same tempo and fully took control of the tie: Isa Hoekstra struck twice, while Abril Rodrigo and Marta Fernández also got on the scoresheet, sealing a convincing second-half display and a 5–0 win on the day.

With this result, FC Badalona Women will face Real Sociedad B in the final for promotion — a clash between two academy sides from Liga F Moeve, with a place in next season’s Primera Federación Iberdrola at stake.
