ITZIAR PINILLOS SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH FC BADALONA WOMEN

FC Badalona Women are delighted to announce the contract renewal of Itziar Pinillos, “Itzi”.

The defender will remain at the club after playing a significant role throughout the season, particularly during the second half of the campaign, when she earned greater prominence in Marc Ballesté’s system and became increasingly influential in the team’s attacking play.

Despite operating in defence, Itzi showcased her attacking qualities by scoring six goals in Liga F Moeve and adding another in the Copa de la Reina. Her cup strike against Real Sociedad proved decisive, securing a historic place in the semi-finals of the competition for FC Badalona Women.

The defender has established herself as one of the squad’s key players during the club’s first-ever season in the top flight of Spanish women’s football. Among the highlights of her career is also winning the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship with Spain.
