FC Badalona Women Make History by Winning the First-Ever Liga Futura Moeve

FC Badalona Women have been crowned champions of the inaugural Liga Futura Moeve after defeating Atlético de Madrid in a thrilling final that was decided in a penalty shootout (7-6), following a goalless draw at the end of regular time.

The Badalona side completed a perfect tournament, remaining unbeaten throughout the competition and becoming the first team in history to lift the Liga Futura Moeve trophy.

The road to the title was far from easy. In the quarter-finals, FC Badalona Women overcame Sevilla FC on penalties before defeating Levante UD 3-2 in the semi-finals to secure their place in the final.

In addition to the team success, the club also claimed the tournament's top scorer award. Amalia finished as Liga Futura Moeve's leading goalscorer with six goals, delivering decisive performances throughout the competition.
