Badalona Women fall narrowly to Espanyol in the penultimate pre-season test (1-0)

FC Badalona Women fell 1-0 to RCD Espanyol in their penultimate pre-season test, against the most demanding opponent they have faced so far.

The hosts took the lead in the first half after making the most of a set-piece. A goal from a corner was enough for Espanyol to secure the victory.

After the break, Badalona Women pushed for an equaliser, although they lacked the inspiration and freshness shown in previous matches. Vicky Losada’s sending-off made the final stages even more difficult and reduced the team’s chances of getting back into the game.

Badalona Women now turn their attention to their next pre-season fixture against FC Barcelona B.
