ONA SHINES IN SEVILLE

In Seville came the biggest reward for the team’s excellent form, and in what a way—after defeating the home side with a resounding 1–5. Head coach Marc Ballester said so himself after the match, insisting that the team deserved a result like this after the tremendous work they have been putting in while overcoming adversity in the form of injuries.
Sevilla, the fourth-best home team in Liga F Moeve, were outplayed by Badalona Women, who delivered a brilliant first half, moving the ball with precision. As a result, two fine moves were finished off with goals by Itzi. The match was under control, but the home side scored before halftime to make it 1–2 and add some tension.
After the restart, a play by Lice showcasing her strength and speed led to the 1–3. ONA, playing with confidence and freedom, wanted more and eventually rounded off the scoreline with goals from Paula, her first in the top división, and Loreta.
Special mention goes to Celya Barclais, named MVP of the match, as well as to sisters Carla and Laia Abdón for making their First Division debut.
