Txell Font strengthens FC Badalona Women's goalkeeping department
The Catalan goalkeeper joins from FC Barcelona B and becomes the club's second signing ahead of the 2026/27 season
FC Badalona Women have completed the signing of Txell Font to strengthen the first team's goalkeeping department for the 2026/27 season. The 21-year-old goalkeeper joins from FC Barcelona B, where she competed in Spain's Primera Federación.
Font began her football journey at UE Centelles before joining FC Barcelona at the age of 12, where she completed her football development. She has also represented Spain at youth international level, establishing herself as one of the country's most promising young goalkeepers.
With this signing, FC Badalona Women add further competition and quality to their goalkeeping unit alongside María Valenzuela, who recently renewed her contract, and Antonia Canales, who continues her recovery from the injury she suffered last February.
Txell Font becomes the club's second signing of the summer, further strengthening the squad as FC Badalona Women prepare for another ambitious season in Liga F.
