Winter Transfer Window

The winter transfer window of the current season closes with three movements: the departures of Margarita Giménez and Sara Extremera, and the arrival of Isabelle Hoekstra. The Argentine Giménez continues in the top division with DUX Logroño, a newly promoted team fighting to avoid relegation. Meanwhile, fullback Sara Extremera has been loaned to CE Europa, an important reinforcement for the Barcelona-based team aiming to stay in the Primera Federación, the second division of women’s football.

On the arrivals side, Isabelle Hoekstra joins from RCD Espanyol with first-team experience, though she is expected to become a key player for our reserve team in their push for promotion to Primera RFEF. The Dutch winger made her debut with the first team against Madrid CFF, playing effectively in the final minutes. The absence of starting forward Lice Chamorro due to injury gave Isabelle the opportunity to join the squad and take on more defensive responsibilities in the closing stages to help maintain the lead.
